About the role:

The Medical Writer's work focuses on developing scientific content (from slide decks to monographs, promotional materials, abstracts, article reviews, congress reports and more). 

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Devising medical and publication strategy
  • Competitive intelligence analysis
  • Bibliographic background research
  • Writing materials
  • Providing full reference sets
  • Incorporating all feedback provided by the client in a proper and timely manner
  • KOL management

Skills & Experience

  • Must have a health science degree (e.g. in biology, pharmacy or medicine). PhD is a plus
  • 2-3 years of medical writing experience
  • Ability to communicate medical/technical information to a wide variety of audiences
  • Key Opinion Leaders management
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Attention to detail and absolute reliability in meeting delivery deadlines
  • Native/Bilingual Spanish or English speaker
  • Team player who can foster positive relationships between the department and other agency teams, such as creatives and account managers
  • Experience with reference managers such as EndNote is a plus
